Star River Night (My attempt at Chinese poetry)

星河夜

斜陽西落別彩霞
燈火螢點照人家
一碧銀河浮天際
猶似春流飄浪花

(English translation :)
The westward sloping sun bids the colorful clouds farewell,
(Only by) The lamps’ light and flashing fireflies reveal the presence of human dwellings;
A (swath of) silver river floats above the blue horizon,
Just like its foamy sprays flutter upon a spring stream.
